Cork Gasket
Cork gaskets are made of extra rubber cork, rubberized cork and normal cork nitrile bonded cork, making them highly compressible and suitable for low and medium bolt pressures. Cork also has good fuel and oil resistance, making it a good general purpose gasket material. It is also offered in various grades of sealing, surface grip, elastic and fire resistant. Standard thicknesses of cork materials range from 1.00 mm to 6.00 mm. Cork composition and cork rubber materials are available with or without a pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) backing.

- It is used extensively for gasket purposes in the automotive sub-industry. It is suitable for heat, cold, noise proofing and decorative purposes in sound and vibration insulation with its special production types.
